Clouds in your skies!

It's summertime and blue skies with bright sunshine may well be what you have wished for. This month we have certainly had plenty of blue-sky days for ourselves, our gardens and our wildlife to enjoy.

Sky

This evening, I noticed the skies were filled with bright clear blue patches of all shapes and sizes, whilst an endless stream of fluffy white and grey clouds came scudding through.  The clouds and their shapes constantly shifting due to the day’s gusting winds, both near and far, gave much to entertain me. I sat for a while to enjoy the sights and within a few very short minutes the changing cloud shapes were a delight and a spectacular moving picture show.

Have you ever played the cloud watching game?  Choose a comfy spot then sit or lie down on the ground to watch the moving sky picture show. It’s mesmerising once you settle and start to look at the details. Share the experience with a friend. Try to pick out cloud shapes that resemble familiar objects?  You’ll be amused at what each of you will notice. Your flying elephant might be your friend’s butterfly!

Try this one:  Can you see my Victorian lady looking to the left with a big hair do and a bustle on the back of her dress?   Anything else?
